Mr. Wedgeworth was a lifelong resident of Sabine Parish; a retired timber contractor; member of Police Jury of Ward 4 for mamy years, and was a member of the Negreet Masonic Order. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James D. Salter of Bossier City, and Mrs. H. L. Townsend of Converse, and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m., in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Jack Byrd officiating. Interment was in the Aimwell Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Don Wedgeworth, Wayne Lightfoot, Edward Burnitt, R. T. Graham, Rodney Gandy, and Dan Mercer.
