Mr. Elzie V Wedgeworth

  Mr. Elzie V. Wedgeworth, 89, of Zwolle for 25 years died Sunday,
May 7, at Sabine Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was a
retired owner and operator of a service station and a member of
Masonic Lodge #286.

  Services were held at Aimwell Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday,
May 9 with interment at Aimwell Cemetery. Officiating were the
Rev. Stephen Neesley and the Rev. Charles Duncan.

  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 60 years,
Clara Mae Wedgworth.

  Survivors include: two sons, Wayne Wedgeworth and wife, Norpia
of Houston, Texas; Donald Wedgeworth and wife, Phyllis of
Florence, South Carolina; two sisters, Vandene Folden of Zwolle,
and Liberine Mercer of Marshall, Texas; one brother, Robert
Wedgeworth of Sour Lake, Texas; four grandchildren, and six
great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were the Deacons at Aimwell
Baptist Church.
