Wedgeworth Funeral services for Mr. Troy B. Wedgeworth, 69, of Many, were held Friday, Feb. 7, 1997, at Aimwell Baptist Church in Zwolle, under the direction of Les Fontaine Funeral Home, at 2 p.m. Officiating were the Revs. Stephen Neesley, and Vernon Stephenson, with eulogy by Mark Schoth. Interment followed in the Aimwell Cemetery. Mr. Wedgeworth was born in Zwolle, on July 25, 1927, to Van and Flora Pilcher Wedgeworth. He was a World War II veteran, and was employed for several years with Dunn Bros. Pipelining Co. in Dallas, Texas. At the time of his death, he was presently employed at Mark's Wholesale Tires. Troy and his loving wife, Charlotte, were married for 31 years. He was a loving husband, father, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all. Mr. Wedgeworth was preceded in death by his parents, Van and Flora Pilcher Wedgeworth; and two brothers, James E. "Buster" Wedgeworth, and Raymond S. Wedgeworth. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Armstrong Wedgeworth of Many; one daughter, Sue Ann Wedgeworth of Many; one foster daughter, Susan Duncan Knox (husband Bobby) of Ozona, Texas; one foster son, Bobby Duncan (wife Cheryl) of Shreveport; two sisters, Liberine Mercer of Marshall, Texas, and Vandine Folden of Zwolle; two brothers, Elzie Wedgeworth of Zwolle, and Robert Ray Wedgeworth of Sour Lake, Texas; two grandchildren, Duncan, and Nathan Knox of Ozona, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers included A. J. Allen, Kip DeLatin, Mark Schoth, Wayne Wedgeworth, Eddie Wedgeworth, and Mike Wedgeworth. Honorary pallbearers included George J. Boyens, Charles Pilcher, Bobby Slaydon, Johnny Mowad, and W. P. "Jug Head" Johnson.
