Revs. Steve Neesley, Vernon Stevenson, and James Miller officiated. Burial was in the Aimwell Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Wedgeworth died Feb. 7, 1997, at Sabine Medical Center, Many. She is survived by her husband, Orbon Wedgeworth, Many; two daughters, Paulene Murray, Nederland, Texas, Wanda Walker (husband Rev. Elcie), Many; four sisters, Pearlie Spears, Kuntze, Texas, Louise Hippler, Many, Eva Mae Hartman, Silsbee, Texas, and Maxine Lovelady, Lufkin, Texas; one brother, David Bass, Silsbee, Texas; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends. Mrs. Wedgeworth was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Emma Bass; one sister, Bertha Wedgeworth; two brothers, Sam and Marion Bass; and one son-in-law, Paul Murray. Pallbearers were her nephews, Thomas Lightfoot, Michael P. Wedgeworth, Garu Thomas, Wendall Hippler, Glenn Lovelady, Billy Bass, Carl Bass, and Ronnie Bass.
