The Rev. Steve Neesley, Vernon Stephenson, and James Miller officiated. Burial followed in the Aimwell Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Wedgeworth died Feb. 7, 1997, at Sabine Medical Center in Many. She is survived by her husband, Orbon Wedgeworth of Many; two daughters, Paulene Murray of Nederland, Texas, Wanda Walker (husband Rev. Elcie) of Many; four sisters, Pearlie Spears of Kuntze, Texas, Louise Hippler of Many, Eva Mae Hartman of Silsbee, Texas, and Maxine Lovelady of Lufkin, Texas; one brother, David Bass of Silsbee, Texas; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends. Mrs. Wedgeworth was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Emma Bass; one sister, Bertha Wedgeworth; and two brothers, Sam, and Marion Bass.
