Arch Wedgeworth

  Arch Wedgeworth, 82, of Evans, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, after an
extended illness.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Elmira Wedgeworth of Evans; four
sons, Lee Wedgeworth, Preston Wedgeworth, and Arvin Wedgeworth,
all of Many, Wiley Wedgeworth of Leesville; three daughters, Mrs.
Burton Lightfoot of Many, Mrs. John Slaughter of Robeline, and
Mrs. Clenard Thomas of Grand Isle; Henry Wedgeworth of Converse,
and Oscar Wedgeworth of Amarillo, Texas; 19 grandchildren; and 14
great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 18, in the Aimwell
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Willis Greer officiating. Burial
was in the Aimwell Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home of Many.
