Rose Rea Burkholder Whitehead (Photo)

  Rose Rea Burkholder Whitehead departed from this life Aug. 17,
2002, shortly after 2 p.m. She was born Jan. 7, 1942, in Borger,
Texas, to Chuck and Ida May Burkholder.

  Funeral services were held Aug. 20, at the First United
Methodist Church of Zwolle, at 11 a.m., with interment following
at Zwolle Cemetery.

  Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Mike Whitehead of
Zwolle; two daughters, Laura Thomas of Natchitoches, and Sarah
Lakey of Dallas, Texas; two grandsons, John Thomas Jr., and
Charles Thomas; brother, Bill Burkholder of Overland Park, Kan.;
sister, Elaine Elliff of Memphis, Texas; and several nieces,
nephews, cousins; and her church family.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Charles.
