Ella Woodel

  Ella Woodel, 62, of Many, died Wednesday, June 5, at 10:20 a.m.,
after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Friday,
June 7, at 10 a.m., at the Trinity Baptist Church, with the Rev.
Houston H. Tibbitts, and the Rev. Brent Fleming officiating.
Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Willie Bell, Ted Hodge, Gilbert Bush, Wingate
Dowden, Horace Simpson, and Dewey Wedgeworth.

  Survivors include one son, Billy Woodel of Shreveport; 2
daughters, Mrs. Mary Nix of Kilgore, and Mrs. Mildred Leach of
Many; 8 grandchildren; 1 brother, J. B. Nelms of Shreveport; 3
sisters, Bessie Honeycutt of Robeline, Mrs. Mabry Penton of
Houston, and Mrs. Zella Honeycoutt of Alice. Tex.
