Odessa Whatley

  Odessa M. Whatley, 53, of Hornbeck, died Saturday, Aug. 6.

  Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9, in the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Roy Dowden
officiating. Burial was in the Middle Creek Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his widow; two sons, Harold Whatley of
Houston, Tex., and Roger Whatley of Hornbeck; one daughter, Mary
Lou Wright of Athens, Tex.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Whatley of Hornbeck; two brothers, Owana W. Whatley of
Bakersfield, Calif., and Aubrey Whatley of Port Arthur, Tex.; and
six grandchildren.
