George Francis Woodel

  George Francis Woodel, 68, died in the Fraser Hospital South in
Many, Friday, Aug. 8, at 6 p.m.

  Survivors include his widow, Myrtis Estelle Woodel; three sons,
Francis Reed Woodel of Fisher, Arthur Ray Woodel of Lake Charles,
and Raymond L. Woodel of Jennings; two daughters, Betty Berly of
Bundick Lake, and Patsy Spoots of Harrisburg, Penn.; one brother,
J. E. Woodel of Fisher; four sisters, Beatrice Sandford of
Shreveport, and Edna Cordova, Bessie Floyd, and Mertie Davis, all
of Robeline; 14 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Hickory Grove Congregational
Methodist Church, Sunday, Aug. 10, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Strong,
and Rev. Lewing officiating. Burial followed in the Hickory Grove
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
