All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Johnnie Woodel Funeral services for Johnnie Woodel of Fisher, were held in the Fisher Baptist Church, Monday, Sept. 8, at 2 p.m. Officiating at the services were the Rev. Travis McCullough, and the Rev. Kenneth Leach. Burial was in the Central Cemetery near Robeline, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Kenneth Clary, George Clary, Arthur Woodel, Warren Woodel, Raymond Woodel, and Marvin Davis. Mr. Woodel died at 4:10 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 7, in DeRidder, following a short illness. He was 60. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Doris Woodel of Fisher; two daughters, Mrs. Opal Lockwood, and Mrs. Janice Thames, both of Fisher; four sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Sandifer of Shreveport, and Mrs. Rona Cordova, Mrs. Bessie Floyd, and Mrs. Myrtle Davis, all of Robeline; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
