Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Doris Woodel of Fisher; two daughters, Mrs. Opal Lockwood, and Mrs. Janice Thames, both of Fisher; four sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Sandifer of Shreveport, and Mrs. Edna Cordova, Mrs. Bessie Floyd, and Mrs. Myrtle Davis, all of Robeline; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Services were held at the Fisher Baptist Church, Monday, Sept. 8, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Travis McCullough, and the Rev. Kenneth Leach officiating. Burial followed in the Central Cemetery near Robeline, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Kenneth Clary, George Clary, Arthur Woodel, Warren Woodel, Raymond Woodel, and Marvin Davis.
