Myrtis E. Woodel

  Mrs. Myrtis E. Woodel, 66, of Fisher, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, at
St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, after a brief illness.

  She is survived by three sons, Francis Reed Woodel of Fisher,
Raymond L. Woodel of Jennings, and Arthur Ray Woodel of Lake
Charles; two daughters, Betty Berly of DeRidder, and Patsy Spotts
of Harrisburg, Penn.; four sisters, Fannie Bele Weaver of Campti,
Feta Graham of Pineville, Vivian Smith of Azel, Tex., and Marie
Roberts, Portage, Indiana. She is also survived by 14
grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

  Services were held at Hickory Grove Methodist Church, with the
Rev. Donnie Paul Lewing officiating, on Fri. Dec. 11. Burial was
in Hickory Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
