Essie Corine Waddle

  Mrs. Essie Corine Waddle of Marthaville, died at LSU Medical
Center in Shreveport, at 1:30 a.m., on Friday, Dec. 31, 1981. She
was 69.

  A native of Sabine Parish, Mrs. Waddle was born in Pleasant Hill
in 1912. She was 69.

in 1912. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Med Woods.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 2, at the
Spring Ridge Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church
cemetery, under the direction of the Rockett-Nettles Funeral
Home.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Gregrich of
Marthaville, and Laverna Vickers of Lake Charles; one brother,
Melton Woods of San Diego, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Otis Moore
of Harmon, Mrs. Winnie Denton of Beaumont, Tex.; and Mrs. Ruth
Waddle of Pleasant Hill; six grandchildren; and 11 great
grandchildren.
