  Leroy Woodel - September 13, 1973

  Mr. Leroy Woodel, 66, of Robeline died Sunday, Sept. 9, at 6
a.m. in Natchitoches.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Truly Woodel; one son, Warren
Woodel of Robeline; four daughters, Mrs. Norma Lee James, and
Mrs. Annie Mae Booker, both of Shreveport; Mrs. Betty Lou
Spraggs, of Beech Haven, N.J.; and Mrs. Trudie Marie Lawson, of
Germany. Mr. Woodel is also survived by two brothers, George
Woodel of LaRose, and J. E. Woodel of Florien; four sisters, Mrs.
Beatrice Sanford, of Shreveport; Mrs. Edna Cordaway, Mrs. Bessie
Floyd, Mrs. Mertie Davis, all of Robeline; and twelve
grandchildren.

  Services were held Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. at the Central
Baptist Church. The Rev. Wilmer Birdwell officiated. Burial was
at the Central Cemetery.
