  Mrs. Clara Mae Woodle - March 10, 1988

  Mrs. Clara Mae Woodle, 91, died at Sabine Medical Center on
Saturday, March 5, 1988.

  Services were held at Fort Jesup Baptist Church at 10 a.m.
Tuesday, March 8. The reverends Arthur Hayman, Dean Crittenden
and H. H. Tibbits officiated. Burial was at Fort Jesup Cemetery
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors included six sons, Buey Woodle of Negreet; Reuben
Woodle of Many, Cecil Woodle and Hurshel Woodle, both of El
Dorada, Ark., Arthur Woodle of Lake Charles and Kenneth Woodle of
Fairfax, Va.; one daughter Velma Lea Bell of many; 32
grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, 18 great great
grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Woodle and one
son, Elmer Woodle.

  Pallbearers included Randy Foster, Buddy Woodle, Shelton Havard,
Greg Bell, Grover Woodle and Jerry Reed.
