Mrs. Eula Whittington

  Mrs. Eula Whittington, 47, of Houston, Tex., passed away on
Friday, Dec. 28, at 9 a.m., in Houston.

  She is survived by her husband, Horace Whittington; a son,
Richard H. Whittington, and one daughter, Mrs. Pamela Morgan,.
all of Houston; her father, William Denver of Smithdale, Miss.;
five brothers, Arthur Frank Barksdale of Pruitt, Ark.; Tommy D.,
and Calvin Rudolph Barksdale, both of Smithdale, Miss.; Harold
W., and Russell Barksdale, both of Houston, and one sister, Mrs.
Ora Lee Kimball of Beaumont, Tex.

  Services were held in the Prospect Methodist Church, on Sunday,
Dec. 30, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Charles E. Scott officiating.
Burial was in the Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
