  Mrs. Bertha Whittington

  Funeral services for Bertha Whittington were held Wednesday,
August 24, 1988, at the Sunset Lawns Chapel of the Chimes in
Sacramento, California.

  Mrs. Whittington, 65, died Aug. 21, 1988, at her home in
Sacramento, California.

  She was preceded in death by he son, Dewey Whittington.

  Mrs. Whittington was survived by her husband, Marlin Whittington
of Sacramento, her mother, Charity Morgan of Sacramento, two
daughters, Anita Clevenger and Annette Rude, both of Sacramento,
ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
