Earl Gray Withers

  Funeral services for Mr. Earl Gray Withers, 50, of Shreveport,
were held Saturday, August 11, at 3 p.m., at Warren Meadows
Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Fenders Cemetery. Bro. C. J. Walea
officiated. Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mr. Withers died Thursday, August 9, 1984, at 12:45 p.m., at his
residence. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mabel Withers of
Shreveport; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Cook of Shreveport; one
grandson, Rodrick (Speedy) Cook of Shreveport; his parents, Mr.
Johnnie Withers, and Mrs. Rena Withers of Many; one sister, Mrs.
Shirley Stringer of Many; and a host of nieces and nephews, and
aunts.

  Pallbearers were Dan Coats, Gene Lawrence, Buford Heard, Benny
Funderburk, Quinton Stringer, and Dennis McGaha.
