John Louis Woodward Sr.

  Services for John Louis Woodward Sr., 59, were Sunday, July 9,
at 3:30 p.m., in Belview Road Baptist Church, with the Rev.
Samuel Prewitt officiating. Burial was in Zwolle Cemetery, under
direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

  Mr. Woodward died Friday, at his residence.

  Survivors include his widow, Mavis V. Woodward; son, John L.
Woodward Jr. of Leesville; daughters, Ann Martin of Anacoco, and
Mrs. Dean Scarborough of LaPlace; father, Frank Woodward of
Zwolle; mother, Lula K. Bevins of Leesville; brothers, Emory K.
Woodward of George Town, and Johnny J. Woodward of Tampa, Fla.;
sister, Mrs. Jerry Moore of West Monroe; and 11 grandchildren.
