Mr. Ralph T. Witherington

  Funeral services for Mr. Ralph T. Witherington, 73, of
Montgomery, Ala., were held at 11 a.m., on Friday, April 11,
1997, at the Lewing Chapel.

  The Rev. Donnie Paul Lewing, and brother B. C. Eason officiated.
Burial was in the Lewing Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Witherington died Wednesday, April 9, in Montgomery, Ala.

  He is survived by his widow, Mary Louise Lewing Witherington of
Montgomery, Ala.; one daughter, Sharon W. Thomason (husband
David) of Montgomery, Ala.; one brother, A. D. Witherington of
Hamburg, Ark.; two grandchildren, Kimberly Louise, and Matthew
Kyle Thomason; and one niece; and one nephew.

  Pallbearers were David Thomason, Ronnie Lewing, Jeff Lewing,
Eric Lewing, Billy Knippers, Shawn Byles, and Shannon Byles.

  Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Hershberger, and Billy Cox.
