All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Beulah Wooley Services for Beulah Wooley, 85, of Huntington, were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, in the Garden Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Amos Cowart officiating. Interment followed in the Huntington Cemetery. Mrs. Wooley was born October 5, 1904, in Many, Louisiana, and passed away July 27, 1990, in a Lufkin nursing home. She was a resident of Huntington since 1949, and a former resident of Many. Mrs. Wooley retired from Huntington Independent School District, where she worked in food service as a cook, for eighteen years. She was a member of Huntington First Baptist church. Survivors include one son, J. B. Wooley Jr. of Dallas; one daughter and son-in-law, Paulette and Thomas Stovall of Lufkin; brother Truman Cowart of San Antonio; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wooley was preceded in death by a daughter, Neldo Wooley; and two sons, R. L. Wooley, and Bobby Wooley. Pallbearers were Charles Cowart, Dixon Stovall, Billy Joe Stovall, Randy Gandy, Earl Carrell, and Truman Hall. Services were under the direction of Gipson Funeral Home in Lufkin.
