He was born Dec. 29, 1917, in Noble. He moved to Zwolle at a young age. He graduated from Zwolle High School in 1935, and enlisted in the U. S. Navy, and served for four years. Wall then began his distinguished 32 year career, as an entry level lock guard, with the Panama Canal Zone police force. He rapidly went through the ranks, and retired June 30, 1972, as Chief of Police, Panama Zone. He received many honors and accolades during his tenure. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Byrle; sons, Randy, and Wayne; sister, Margaret Wall; and brother, J. E. Wall and wife Myrtle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Carrie Wall; sister, Lula Belle Britt; brother, Randolph Wall Gaddis. He gave his all in everything he did, and will be deeply missed by his family.
