He was born Dec. 29, 1917, in Noble. Services were held at 2 p.m., June 7, and burial followed at Barrancas Federal Cemetery in Pensacola, Fla. He moved to Zwolle at a young age. He graduated from Zwolle High School in 1935, and enlisted in the U. S. Navy, and served for four years. Wall then began his distinguished 32 year career as an entry level lock guard with the Panama Canal Zone Police Force. He rapidly went through the ranks, and retired June 30, 1972, as Chief of Police, Panama Canal Zone. He received many honors and accolades during his tenure. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Byrle; sons, Randy, and Wayne; sister, Margaret Wall; and brother, J. E. Walla and wife Myrtle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Carrie Wall; sister, Lula Belle Britt; and brother, Randolph Wall. He gave his all in everything he did, and will be deeply missed by his family.
