Mrs. Arie Thomas Wilburn

  Services for Mrs. Arie Thomas Wilburn, 92, of Logansport, were
held at the Rose Neath Chapel, January 15, at 2 p.m. Officiating
was Rev. Clarence Chism, assisted by rev. David Burzynski. Burial
was in Bethel Cemetery.

  Mrs. Wilburn died January 13, 1986. She was a member of the
Maple Springs Baptist Church.

  Survivors include six sons, Wilson E. Thomas of Keithville,
Lloyd I. Thomas of Mobile, Ala., P. E. Thomas of Seabrook, Tex.,
J. L. Thomas of Pasadena, Tex., and Rev. Gene Thomas, and Merle
Thomas, both of Logansport; one daughter, Mrs. J. O. Melton of
Paducha, Ky.; two sisters, Beulah McNeese of Garrison, Tex., and
Donice Lilly of Florien; a host of grandchildren, great
grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Harold Cater, George Williams, Harold Cogswell,
Jerry Lowe, Marshall Thompson, and Lynn Todd.
