The Sabine Index - Mrs. L. W. Willis

  23 Feb 1934 - Death claimed Mrs. L. W. Willis, age 46, at her home
in Zwolle two o'clock Monday afternoon.

  Funeral services were at Zwolle Baptist church two o'clock Tuesday
afternoon with interment in Zwolle cemetery.  Pallbearers were:  D. F.
Peterson, C. B. Halbert, C. J. Davis, S. L. Carroll, M. L. Corley and
F. A. Keelan.

  Mrs. Willis was born in Woodville, Texas, Sept. 11, 1888, moved to
Zwolle in 1911 and was an active member in the Baptist church ever
since.  She was a faithful teacher in the Sunday school where her
absence will be greatly lamented, as her good example has been an
inspiration to all with whom she came in contact.

  She is survived by her husband, L. W. Willis, a son, Carl Willis,
of Zwolle, as well as two brothers, E. W. Moore of Zwolle and Grover
Weaver of Shreveport.
