Sam Wallace

  Sam Wallace, 80, died in Pleasant Hill on Sunday, August 31, at
4:30 p.m., following a short illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruth Wallace of Zwolle; two
daughters, Mrs. Betty Varnell of Shreveport, and Mrs. Lula Mae
Martinez of Zwolle; 26 grnadchildren, and 32 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church on
Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 10 a.m., with the Msgr. Robert C. Friend
officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
