Tom Wilson, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Leonard Dupree, assistant pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Forest Park. A native of Shreveport, Mrs. Walsh died at 8:20 Monday, June 14, in Houston, Tex., following a lengthy illness. She was a lifelong Shreveport resident, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Women's Dept. Club, the Entire Nous Study Club, and the Federated Women's Clubs of Louisiana. Survivors include two sons, Buckley Alexander Walsh of Ruston, and Danile Stephens Walsh of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. H. A., Davidson of Many, and Mrs. J. C. Griffith of Shreveport; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Cross, Hugh M. Sneed, Aubrey Marsh, W. L. Simmons, Frank Reager, and James McClure. The family requests any memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, or the church or charity of the donor's choice.
