Della Welch

  Mrs. Della Berry Welch, 85, of Midway Manor Nursing Home in
Shreveport, died Monday, in Physicians and Surgeons Hospital,
after a long illness.

  A native of Marthaville, she had lived in Shreveport seven
years. Mrs. Welch was a member of Huntington Park Church of the
Nazarene.

  The funeral was at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 6, in the South Side
Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Prentice,
pastor of Huntington Park Church of the Nazarene, officiating.

  Burial was at 1 p.m., Wednesday, in Marthaville Cemetery.

  Survivors include two sons, Woodrow Berry of Shreveport, and C.
L. Berry of Jena; four daughters, Mrs. Clara Arnold, and Mrs.
Velma Sebren, both of Shreveport, Mrs. Angie Blue of Monroe, and
Mrs. Lessie Mae Davis of Natchitoches; a sister, Mrs. Myrtie
Walker of Pleasant Hill; 22 grandchildren; and 36 great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Mrs. Welch's grandsons.
