Wallace, 51, were at 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, at First Baptist Church in Minden. Dr. Ronald Price officiated, assisted by Rev. Kerry Burns. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery in Bossier City, La., under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Minden. He died at 2:10 a.m., Fri. at Minden Medical Center, after a brief illness. Rev. Wallace was a Director of Minden Division State Probation, and Parole, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Arcadia, La., pastor of Cypress Springs Baptist Church, Gibsland, La., a member of the Lions Club, a graduate of La. College, Pineville, La., and New Orleans Theological Seminary. Survivors include his widow, Evelyn Brown Wallace, Minden; three daughters, Judy Lay, Metairie, Jennifer Wallace, Renee Wallace, both of Minden; seven brothers, M. D. Wallace, Baton Rouge, Martin Wallace, Converse, Perry Wallace, and Joe N. Wallace, both of Dallas, Tex., Ray Wallace, Shreveport, Robert Wallace, New Orleans, Frank Wallace, Burlington, Wa.; two sisters, Annie Belle Patrick, and Viola Jones, both of Converse. Pallbearers were Rev. Lloyd Brown, Rev. Malcolm Self, Rev. Floyd Lisenby, Rev. Ben Jordan, Rev. Don Woodard, and Rev. Virgil Groves. Honorary pallbearers were pastors of the Webster-Claiborne Assn. The family request memorials be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church Building Fund at Arcadia.
