The Rev. Frank E. Wilson of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Shreveport, officiated. Burial was at Highland Cemetery in Mansfield. Mrs. Wells died Tuesday morning, April 2, 1985, in a Shreveport hospital, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Anory, Miss., and had been a resident of Louisiana since her early childhood. She moved to Shreveport from St. Francisville. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. C. Wells in 1965. She is survived by one sister, Miss Layde Quinn of Shreveport; two stepsons, Lloyd Wells of Denham Springs, and Thomas Earl Wells of McComb, Miss.; five granddaughters, Mary Jackson, and Margaret Jacobs Cole of Converse, Eudolie Davis of Shreveport, Artie Lynn Blackburn of Glenmore, Fay Morgan of Groves, Tex.; five step grandchildren. Pallbearers were grand nephews, Anthony Davis, Steve Jacobs, William Cody Blackburn, John Henry Jacobs, Wayne Wells, and Jesse Toney.
