Mrs. Heflon L. Wallis

  Services for Mrs. Heflon L. Wallis, 66, of Bossier City, were
held at 10 a.m., Friday, November 7, at Boone Funeral Home's
Airline Chapel. The Rev. Truman Moses officiated. Burial was in
Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery.

  Mrs. Wallis, a homemaker, and native of Mt. Carmel, died
Wednesday, November 5, 1986, at a Shreveport hospital. She was
Baptist.

  She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Wallis of Bossier
City; one daughter, Mary Catherine Mahr of Birmingham, Ala.;
three sons, Robert L. Wallis Jr. of Bossier City, Tommy Law
Wallis, and Johnny Wallis of Benton; three sisters, Fay Wright of
Shreveport, Zarah Hayes of Mt. Carmel, and Reba Oxley of Lake
Charles; two brothers, J. B. Law of Smackover, Ark., and Dub Law
of Florien; and eight grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Robert Shaver, Mike Pool, Pat Pool, Bruce
Coker, Stacy Ritchie, and Jeff Shugarets.
