James Carl Willis

  Mr. James Carl Willis, 87, passed away at the Sabine Medical
Center on Saturday, January 2. His funeral services was held on
Monday, at 2 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in
Zwolle, with Rev. Walter Parr officiating. Graveside services
were conducted by members of Zwolle Masonic Lodge No. 302.

  Mr. Willis was born on May 8, 1905, and was a lifelong resident
of Zwolle. He had retired from Armour Packing Company, and was a
member of the First United Methodist Church of Zwolle. He was a
past master of Masonic Lodge No. 302, where he was a member of 55
years.

  Surviving is his wife of 59 years, Mrs. Inez Pruett Willis of
Zwolle.

  Pallbearers were William Elliott, James Hayes, Richard Weyer,
John Patton, Jack Napier, and Barlow Cates. Honorary pallbearers
were Lehman Lopez, Wesley Webb, and Kenneth Dockens.

  Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in
Zwolle.
