Mr. Raymond Larry Welch, Sr.

  A Memorial service was held for Mr. Raymond Larry Welch Sr., 80,
on Thursday, February 10, at 12 noon, at the Aimwell Baptist
Church. Burial was in the Aimwell Cemetery. Officiating at the
service were Rev. Benny Alford, manager of Clara Springs Baptist
Encampment, and Rev. Steve Neesley, pastor of Aimwell Baptist
Church. Burial was in the Aimwell Cemetery.

  Mr. Welch, who resided at Pleasant Hill Nursing Home, died on
February 6, at VA Hospital in Shreveport. Mr. Welch served for 23
years in the United States Air Force, and was also a retired
carpenter.

  He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Faye; and son,
Raymond Larry Welch Jr.; and two grandsons, Michael Lee
Dickerson, and Christopher Lynn Dickerson.

  He is survived by two sons, James F. Welch of Zwolle, La.,
Anthony G. Welch of Phoenix, Arizona; two daughters, Patricia A.
Holding of Tucson, Arizona, and Nancy Victoria Dickerson of
Coshocton, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
