Jesse J. Wells

  Funeral services for Jesse Wells, 81, of Pleasant Hill, were
held at 2 p.m., Friday, November 11, at United Methodist Church
of Pleasant Hill.

  Rev. Roy Mouser, and Rev. Carl Munion officiated. Interment was
at Zion Rest Cemetery of Pleasant Hill, under the direction of
Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Mr. Wells was born in Natchitoches Parish. He was a retired
school bus driver, with 25 years of service at Pleasant Hill
School. For over 40 years, he was a member of the United
Methodist Church of Pleasant Hill, and also served as Trustee.

  Mr. Wells passed away on November 8, 1994, at Schumpert Medical
Center in Shreveport.

  Survivors are his widow, Rowayne Wells of Pleasant Hill; three
sons, Mark Wells of Shreveport, Don Wells of Goldonna, and David
Wells of Springtown, Tex.; one daughter, Judith Bugard of
Sherman, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Mae Powell of Evelyn; three
brothers, Roy Wells, and Albert Wells, both of Pleasant Hill,
Alvin Wells of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Todd Wells, Kenneth
Burgard, Cathy Burgard, Annie Wells, Andrew Wells, and Ashley
Page; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were his nephews.
