All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** John Walter Wallace Services for Mr. John Walter Wallace, 44, of Shreveport, were held at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, Thursday, September 7, 1995, at 11:30 a.m. Officiating was the Rev. Robert Davis, pastor of Southern Hills Baptist Church. Interment was in Centuries Memorial Park. Mr. Wallace died Monday, September 4, 1995, at Willis-Knighton South, after a sudden illness. He was born in Lubbock, Texas, and was a resident of Shreveport for the past 27 years. Mr. Wallace was co-owner of S & A Food Mart. He was a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church, and the American Quarter Horse Association. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Nell Hester Wallace. He is survived by his wife, Barbara King Wallace; two sons, John Cass Wallace, and James Walter Wallace, all of Shreveport; father and stepmother, Walter William Wallace Jr. and Madeline Wallace, Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Bridgett Causey, Juanell Maness, both of Shreveport; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Pallbearers were John Lee Fatheree Jr., Chris Brown, James King Jr., Wayne King, Tommy Hight, Gary Jordan, Jay Causey, and Donnie Freeman. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Belin, Corey Brown, Coty Madden, Casey Madden, Jason King, Cassidy King, Kenneth Freeman, Dalton Freeman, Jason Maness, Kenny Jordan, Jeremy Causey.
