George Audrey Wells

  Funeral services for George Aubrey Wells, 81, of Fort Jesup,
La., were held Tuesday, April 30, 1996, at Wesley United
Methodist Church. Interment followed at Forest Lawn Memorial
Park, under the direction of Kelly Watkins Funeral Home.

  Mr. Wells died April 28, 1996, at St. Elizabeth in Beaumont,
Tex. Mr. Wells was a native of Ft. Jesup, La. He lived in
Beaumont for 55 years. He retired from Bethlehem Steel. He was
the former owner of the Super Value Supermarket in Beaumont, and
vice president of Pic-um & Pac-um in Jefferson County.

  Survivors include his wife, Freda J. Wells; and one son, Jerome
L. Wells, both of Beaumont.

  Memorial contributions can be made to George A. Wells, Memorial
Organ Chimes, Wesley United Methodist Church.
