All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Katherine Tidwell Welch Funeral services for Katherine Tidwell Welch, 93, were held Monday, Nov. 18, 1996, in Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel, at 2 p.m. Officiating was Charles Davis, minister of Church of Christ, Red Chute. Interment was at Hill Crest Memorial Park, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier Chapel. Mrs. Welch passed away Friday, Nov. 15, at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Monroe, and a lifelong resident of Bossier City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Jack Welch; and one son, Virgil "Bud" Welch. She is survived by three sons, Paul E. Welch of Shreveport, Thomas Welch of Many, and Bobby Welch of Riverside, Calif.; two daughters, Martell Barnebey of Haughton, and Jackie Bernice Lucas of Orange, Calif.; eighteen grandchildren; forth eight great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were her grandsons.
