John W. Wells

  John W. Wells, 81, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 12 a.m., in a
Pineville Hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 20, in the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Earl Marr
officiating. Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors are his wife; three sons, John R. Wells of El Paso,
Tex., J. D., and T. J. Wells, both of Beaumont, Tex.; three
daughters, Mrs. Mary Johnson, and Mrs. Jessie Boult, both of San
Antonio, Tex., and Mrs. Alice Land of Lubbock, Tex.; five
grandchildren; and six great grandchileren.
