Mary McConathy Wells

  Mrs. Mary Elizabeth McConathy Wells, 65, died at the Doctor's
Hospital in Shreveport Sunday, March 13, at 7:14 p.m.

  Mrs. Wells is a native of Toro in Sabine Parish, and has been a
resident of Shreveport for 17 years.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 15, at 2 p.m., in the
Westside Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charles Flurry
officiating, assisted by the Rev. Billy McCormic of Florien.
Interment was in the Forest Park West Cemetery, under the
direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.

  Survivors include two sons, Theodore Wells, and McConathy C.
Wells, both of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Billy Wilson of
Toro, and Mrs. Peggy Werts of Clanton, Maryland; one sister, Mrs.
Zemmeriah E. Arnold of Toro; and 11 grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were the Deacons of the Westside Baptist Church of
Shreveport.
