Marvin T. Wallace

  Funeral services for Marvin T. Wallace, 40, of Las Vegas, Nev.,
who formerly resided in Shreveport, were held Sunday at 2:30 in
the Fellowship Baptist of the Oak Grove community near Converse,
with the Rev. Jerry Schmucker of Pinecroft Baptist Church,
Shreveport, Rev. L. C. Coats, and Rev. Clark Heard officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery.

  Mr. Wallace died unexpectedly in Las Vegas Wednesday night. He
was a city employee of Las Vegas, moving there four years ago
from Shreveport.

  Active pallbearers were E. W. Jones, Elroe Patrick, Russell
Clark, Arell Sistrunk, J. C. Edwards Jr., and Ivy DeVille.

  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anita Edwards Wallace; a
daughter, Miss Virginia Wallace; three sons, Marvin E., David,
and John Wallace, all of Las Vegas; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M.
S. Wallace of Converse; eight brothers, M. D. of Slaughter,
Martin of Converse, Perry of Pineville, Joe Norris of Beaumont,
Ray of Welsh, Charles of Summerdale, Ala., Bob of Oakdale, and
Frank Wallace of Mt. Vernon, Wash.; and two sisters, Mrs. E. W.
Jones, and Mrs. Elroe Patrick of Converse.
