James B. Wilson

  Mr. James Bert Wilson, 53, of Many, died in a Alexandria Hospital
Wednesday, July 19, after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, July 22, at 2 p.m., in the
Oak Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Percy Tibbitts, the Rev.
W. E. Spencer, and the Rev. Hoy Leach officiating at the services.
Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Wilson is survived by his widow, Mrs. Hazel M. Wilson of Many;
one son, Travis Wilson of Zwolle; two daughters, Mrs. Cellia Scott
of Dallas, and Miss Sheryl Ann Wilson of Many; three brothers, J. L.
Wilson of Marshall, Herman Wilson of Shreveport, and Horace Wilson
of Ft. Worth; one sister, Mrs. Beulah Daley of Mansfield, and two
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Buddy Branton, Sam Tarpley, Dallas Kelley, Tyrice
Maxey, Elsie Walker, and Leo Windham.
