James Oda Wilson

  Funeral services for James Oda Wilson, 84, were held at 10 a.m.,
Jan. 28, at Warren Meadows Chapel.

  Bro. Eddie Roberts officiated. Interment was in Shady Grove
(Natchitoches Parish), under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mr. Wilson passed away on January 26, 1995, at Sabine Medical
Center.

  Mr. Wilson was born on July 27, 1910, in Sabine Parish, to
Bertie Britt, and James Dossy Wilson.

  Survivors include his widow, Camille Alford of Florien; six
sons, Odie Carrol Wilson of Shreveport, Freddie Wilson of
Houston, Buddie Wilson of Mooringsport, John Wilson of Richmond,
Va., and Audie Wilson of Florien; two daughters, Peggy Kennedy of
Dallas, and Janice Searles of Hoeiewall, Tenn.; two sisters, Ruby
Durrett, and Myrtie Self, both of Florien; nineteen
grandchildren; and twenty one grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Mike Wilson, Tim Wilson, Ken Wilson, Wesley
Wilson, David Wilson, James Leone, Rusty Kennedy, and Bryan Kent.
