Wilson, 85, of Pleasant Hill, will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, 1997, at the Progress Presbyterian Church, Pleasant Hill. The Rev. Hugh Hannah, and Father Kenneth Williams will officiate. Interment with full military honors, conducted by a unit from Fort Polk Army Reservation, will be held at the Progress Presbyterian Cemetery. Services will be under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Wilson died Monday, March 24, 1997, at the Sabine Medical Center. He was a native of Pensacola, Florida, and a resident of Pleasant Hill, for the past three years. He was retired from the U. S. Coast Guard, after 28 years of service. He attended Catholic High School of Pensacola, and was the former owner of U. C. Wilson Home Improvements, and Holiday Bike Shop. He was a member of the U. S. Coast Guard Chief Warrant, and Warrant Officers Association. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 52 years, Louise Wilson; one son, Graydon Wilson of Katy, Texas; five daughters, Mary Langston, and Nelda Mattson, both of Pensacola, Fla., Nancy Wilson Reid, and Susan Karen Wilson, both of San Diego, Calif., and Pamela Dianne Bearce of Katy, Texas; one brother, Edward Owen Wilson of Pensacola, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son, Charles Wilson.
