Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 29, in the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Marshall Ingle, the Rev. Earl Marr, and the Rev. Daniel Davis officiating. Burial followed at the Calvary Cemetery in Natchitoches. Mrs. Wilson was a resident of Pleasant Hill, and a native of Marthaville. She was a member of the Springridge Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill. Survivors include three sons, Donald Lee Wilson of Birmingham Ala., Laren Harvey Wilson of Orange, Texas, and Gary Mitchell Wilson Sr. of Fort Worth, Texas; one daughter, Martha W. Guay of Many; two sisters, Geraldine Dyess of Pleasant Hill, and Elva Lee Gates of Natchitoches; nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by three brothers, Buster, Dallas, and Ray Lewis; and one grandson, Gary Mitchell Jr. Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home, Natchitoches, La.
