James Dawson Wilson

  Mr. James Dawson Wilson, 78, of Florien, died Sunday, June 30,
after an extended illness.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertie Wilson of Florien; one
son, Oda Wilson of Florien; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Durrett of
Hornbeck, Mrs. Mertie Self of Florien; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie
McGinnis of Lake Charles; one brother, Eligah Wilson of Toro; one
half sister, Mrs. Manuel Savell of Toro; 20 grandchildren; and 16
great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday, July 1, in the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Robert Graham, and Bro. Lynn Jones
officiating. Interment was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
