Wilson, 88, burned to death Dec. 29, in a fire which destroyed his small frame home in Zwolle. Authorities said Wilson was alone in the home when the fire erupted about 4 a.m. The cause of the blaze has not been determined. A neighbor, Claude Barnett, reported the fire, and then attempted to get inside the flaming home, but was driven back by the smoke and fire. Barnett said the fire was out of control when he turned in the alarm. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Dec. 28, in the chapel of Warren Funeral Home in Many, and burial was in Zwolle Cemetery. Survivors are five sons, Edgar Wilson of Dodge, Tex., Armon Wilson, and Earl Wilson of Houston, and David Wilson of Beaumont, Tex.; and a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Swint of Silsbee, Tex.
