Walker is survived by five brothers, Leon Walker, Kirbyville; Paul Walker, Many; J. C. Walker, Jasper, Tex.; and Hoy Walker, Belmont; Salter Walker, Belmont; three sisters, Mrs. Ninnie Brumley, Oak Grove; Mrs. Helen Salley, Belmont; Mrs. Bertie Barnhill, Shreveport; and a number of nieces and nephews. Walker, who is a veteran of World War II, was a member of the Queensborough Baptist Church. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Jan. 6, at 2 p.m., in the Beulah Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. P. King, and the Rev. Kenneth Leach officiating. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Walker's nephews.
