Mrs. Mollie Walker

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 25, in the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many, for Mrs. Mollie
Walker, 88, of Shreveport, who died Wednesday, July 24, at
Willis-Knighton Hospital.

  The Rev. Thurman Boatright, pastor of the Bethel Assembly of God
Church, and the Rev. George Harrison officiated. Burial was in
Toro Cemetery near Florien.

  Mrs. Walker was a long-time resident of Shreveport. She had also
lived for many years in Sabine Parish.

  Survivors include three sons, Robert F. Walker, W. A. Walker,
and Fleming Walker, all of Shreveport; two daughters, Nellie
Walker, and Mrs. Maggie Johnson, both of Shreveport; 15
grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, and seven great-great
grandchildren.
