Walker, age 60 years, passed away suddenly of heart attack last Wednesday at Mills Valley, Cal. The hour of funeral service has not been set, awaiting the arrival of remains. The funeral will be held at Belmont and interment will be in Belmont cemetery. Surviving Mr. Walker are four children, two daughters, Mrs. Lola Baylis and Mrs. Effie Cook of Bastrop, two sons, Sgt. D. H. Walker of the U. S. marines stationed in New Orleans, and Billie Jean Walker of Belmont; six brothers, Corley of Shreveport, C. E. of Many, Y. C., Harry and Alvin of Negreet and Norman of U.S. air forces at Lake Charles; four sisters, Mrs. J. T. Dees and Mrs. Guy Sibley of Many, Mrs. Thomas McCellenden of route one Many and Mrs. Herman Alford of Many.
